Our ever so successful wire crochet design competition is over and the results are stunning !
Active members of YoolaISK FB wire crochet community have been working hard the last couple of weeks, and came up with very creative results, I must admit I couldn't anticipate it will be so successful !!!
The designs are imaginatives, aesthetic , some are funny and full of humor , some are classy and innovative, a really amazing range of wire crochet designs .
I AM so proud of designs that aren
on top of that to think that all these ladies (yep... not even one men) learned crocheting with wire in the ISK technique online , some through the wire crochet DIY kits and some through the wire crochet online patterns.
Designing a tea light holder isn’t as simple as one would think , I could even say it is quite challenging, on one hand there is the tech issues such as how to hold the tea light while keeping it straight so there are no spills or how to prevent the holder from heating.
While the more playful part in my view would be how to use the light created by the candle with the wire mesh, the mesh can create fascinating shades .
