Black lives matter jewelry

Customized jewelry orders are on one hand difficult because there is always the worry that even if communication was perfect, somebody may have imagined something else, but on the other hand they open up new horizons, bring opportunities and create challenges, which I love ...

So when a week or so ago a dear loyal client of mine asked if I could make her my layering bracelet in LGBT colors PLUS the addition of brown and black to represent black lives matter idea, I was more than happy to do that, the result is very beautiful even if you count out its statement, thats has its own beauty, so even if you are not into wearing political jewelry or don't want to make any particular statement, you will still be happy to make it and / or wear it.

Those of you familiar with my wire crochet patterns will notice its actualy the layering bracelet in a simplified version, without the curved tubes, its a very long string of thin tube crocheted using the XS ISK starter, this is it ...  

 

The very same order included also a black lives matter bracelet in 3 colors , black red and green, executed in my ombre bracelet design, this bracelet statement is hard to miss with such definitive color combination. you will notice that this design is a basic beginners level wire crochet project with 3 yoolatubes flattened and assembled next to one another . 

This is part of what I love about wire crochet in the ISK technique, with a very simple stitch you can make a statement ...
