SHOSHKE, an artistic creation by Zeev Engelmayer, is a notable local Israeli persona. Though not an actual person, SHOSHKE serves as a work of art that Engelmayer invented. Through this character, he orchestrates shows and engages in activist endeavors aimed at fostering tolerance.

Within the context of Zeev Engelmayer's exhibition held at the Herzliya Art Museum, he invited artists and designers to contribute their individual interpretations of SHOSHKE using various techniques and mediums. The goal was to accumulate 1000 representations of SHOSHKE, either in tangible form or as conceptual depictions. Given my deep affinity for the causes that Engelmayer advocates, I made the decision to create a wire crochet rendition of SHOSHKE. Those familiar with the Curle partial pattern may recognize its influence in my design, from which I proceeded to improvise and craft my own unique version of SHOSHKE using a crochet hook and wire.

Material : copper coated wire
