I know these smallish clasps and rings are not very particular to my wire crochet jewelry making, and i know that beaders have an even more complicated challenge organizing their materials then me.
After all almost all my clasps , rings, ear wire etc go into this one sweet aluminum box, well , and to be honest just another one with my pearls, stones and other cuties.
I got acquainted with this cute organizer on my latest crochet wire jewelry making workshop that ended just last week, its so true that by teaching you get so much yourself!!! one of my students, Sigal, (check her jewelry here, she is very talented!) brought her little box with her, and it was love at first site ! she told me she brought it from New York a couple of years ago but that she thinks I can also get one at a local supplier.
The lesson was on Friday, so I had to stay put till Sunday, which isn’t easy for me. On Sunday I immediately ordered 2 boxes and happily filled it up the following day.
its been 2 weeks now but I still find myself staring at it with great satisfaction and affection :)
until today i had this quite large milky plastic box where i put all my items in small plastic bags, the main problem was i sometimes had too much of one item and too little of another, i also wasn’t comfy shlepping it around with me…. and since my favorite jewelry making spot is my sofa just next to the garden, It is an issue !
