7 NEW features with YoolaPlate, the new Yoola ISK drawplate

Those of you that are members of the YoolaISK group may remember the preliminary sketches I shared with you a year or so ago, well… Its finally here !

This is much more than just another draw plate, it’s a drawplate with unique features for ISK users. This does not mean other crafters can't use it , it is also great for Viking knitting and spool knitting, its great for all knitted or created wire tubes, but there are a few features that only an ISK'r will understand…

But first thing first, lets go over all its features and advantages one by one.

1. The YoolaPlate is made of a durable plastic especially chosen to accommodate our wire knitted tubes without leaving any marks neither on the tubes or the YoolaPlate.
2. The holes which are the main feature of the YoolaPlate are designed in a slight angle hard to see with bare eyes, the angle supports smooth drawing of the tubes.
3. The YoolaPlate has more holes than the wooden one, we now have a totla14 round holes starting at 2mm until 15mm diameter, I remember some of your requested larger holes, but this input had to be rejected to maybe a separate plate in the future.
4. The YoolaPlate holes have marks next to each one of them, indicating their diameter in mm.
5. a NEW long slot was added to the YoolaPlate , specially designed to flatten the wire crochet tubes !
6. in the small space we had left we managed to add measuring marks, both in inches and in mm, the marks are delicate to maintain the aesthetics of the draw plate.
7. Built in hinges were designed to hold the crochet hooks and by that store them while not in use, I don’t know what about you, but I keep loosing my crochet hooks, or worse, they tend to get caught in my bags. With the news YoolaPlate my crochet hook is safely stored

This is an opportunity to give a big thank you to Avner my hubby, that helped me develop the YoolaPlate , designed it and brought it to production.

In case you were wondering , the old wooden drawplate will still be available for a while , but in the long run the plan is for the YoolaPlate to replace it.
