You have to admit this title got you by surprise, I know that for sure, because this is what I thought when I first saw the gothic twist Tal is taking on my wire crochet designs. In case you were wondering who is Tal, Tal participates in one of my advanced classes for the last few months.
Those of you familiar with my designs will recognize the source of most items, but at the same time they look so different, part of the impact is due to the unique and bold color combinations, purple, black and green dominating most of the pieces. not many designers can combine purple and green and "stay alive" ...
a second feature are the little themed charms that leave no room for other interpretations, gothic all the way, small skulls, angel wings and bones.
Amazing how a small skull dangling at the bottom of a wire crochet silver pod can change its look form something organic into gothic.
or the little wings dangling at the bottom of the a pendant based on the shogun pattern, all the way from geometric to gothic with just a little charm.
with any questions I'm here as always ...
Love,
Yael aka Yoola
