NEW Crochet Gemstone Jewelry & New Design study

For those of you following my updates on Instagram and Facebook, this will not come as surprise  :)  .... I'm having a gemstone period. I added a lot of new gemstone pieces to the handmade wire crochet jewelry pieces that I make, and im even wearing one of them.... which I don't usually do. 

All these new gemstones and the ongoing ones are gathered under a NEW "Gemstone Jewelry" collection here on my website. Some of the new stones you will notice are Rose Rhodonite, earthly looking Pyrite with some metal sparks & Gray Labradoritethat has silver shimmering sparks in it.

These 3 have joined the ongoing : Green Prehnite that looks like a capsule of a little forest, Olive Jade that has an amazing mat finish, Yellow calcite, Purple Amethyst, Blue Lapis lazuli, shiny Black Onyx & Turquoise, quite a selection I would say. 

But it doesn't end here, I've also started to research new wire crochet designs to compliment these large gemstones that I'm so enthusiastic about, a sneak peek into my sketchbook can show you my start point, but it is early stages to know which designs will mature and which will make it into a mature design.

Naturally they don't even have any nicknames yet, will maybe a few do . there is sunny sunshine, a funny cat , a medal , a Greek cross and a dancer .... any guess who the dancer is ? but as you can see they are only half way there with open loose edges, only half backed.
