I LOVE pomegranates, some people feel its a hassle to peel them, but I think it's part of the fun, where I live we have the option to buy directly from the growers, in bulk. so last year when we felt the season is coming to an end we opened a little factory in the kitchen, peeling off quite a few pomegranates and put them in the freezer. at first when you still have the memory of the fresh pomegranates its less valued, but once this memory fades away we enjoyed them very much, apparently the seeds should be thoroughly dried before freezing, I was actually considering getting one of those blast freezers that freeze really quickly and may preserve the fruits and veggies better, but then I remind myself I'm into eating seasonally ... hmmm...
Anyways, we are actually here to talk about the wire pomegranates or as they are called in Spanish Frutas de Granada, in French Grenade, in Dutch Granaatappels and in Hebrew Rimon, I know all of this because the translation of the wire crochet Pomegranate tutorial to these languages was completed and they are already available for you to purchase in all 3 options: PDF only pattern / PDF + video / Video upgrade.
or a DIY gift kit !
Italian, German and Portuguese are in the work and will be coming soon.
