As many of you know, in addition to teaching you how to crochet with wire online, I also teach classes in person, mostly in Israel but occasional also in other places around the globe. Sometimes I feel that meeting my community gives me the opportunity to learn more than to teach, I know this is something many teachers say, but it's one thing to hear it and another to experience it yourself, and im glad to say that I feel it.
What I want to share with you today is the work of one of my most hard working class participants, Hanna hasn't been wire crocheting with me for such a long time, I looked back and its a little more than a year now, hard to believe she did so much in so little time.
Wire crochet isn't Hanna's first or only skill, it is actually only her newest one, I knew she is an accomplished metalsmith, and has been also enthusiastically working with leather, but when she hosted our recent workshop in her home a few weeks ago I learned she tried her hands over the years in so many other techniques, a true crafter's soul.
But since this blog is All about wire crochet I will share with you here Hanna's creations that combine wire crochet with other materials.
