Why I consider my wire crochet business green

In continuous to last week newsletter (not getting it ? subscribe here and don't forget to verify your subscription and my email address, or the weekly newsletter might go to the trash, CLICK HERE to subscribe) .

so where were we? last week newsletter with the title something I did not know about me, reading through  those resolutions you could probably notice the presence of flowers and veggies, nature has always been important to me but its presence has become more and more substantial.

I guess you could always do more, but it's better to do what you can rather than aim to the sky and not do anything, I was once told by a wise man that the biggest enemy of good is perfect.

Part of what guided me into developing the wire crochet patterns was the green aspect of this, I design on one side of the world and people on far away countries recreate my design with almost zero pollution created, maybe except for the electricity we both used and the digital pollution we created when interacting. (don't know my online patterns section ? hop over HERE).

This is also the reason I keep demonstrating in my patterns how to follow them without my dedicated tools, although anyone familiar with them will tell you how much easier it makes wire crocheting in the ISK technique.

also, since we mentioned my wire crochet accessories, remember that my draw plate used to be made of wood ? and now it is made of plastics ? among other practical reasons like the hook holder and the smoothness of the holes, which were good enough reasons in designing and making it, there is also a hidden green one, apparently using wood as a raw material isn't the best material acologic wise, and apparently plastic has a smaller impact beaue it can get recycled and because no tree was cut down in the way, I did not know that either, until I did.

There is probably more I can do so I put this little note to remind me the 3 R's :

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
