My journey that began with the SUN pattern continues, It's hard for me to stay on track and not jump over to something new (which is already cooking in parallel...), but I feel this new wire crochet pattern still has hidden potential that needs to be revealed. Coming up with new wire crochet tricks and twists are great but it just as important and rewarding to bring them into maturity and design finished jewelry that people can make and wear.
The first size I tried was based on the XXL loom with the 84 gates.
that manifested in a a royal looking collar necklace and also led to the SPIKE sharp looking wire crochet element.
after that I realized it can also work really nicely with the XL loom with the 56 gates, to create more modest in size but just as pretty wire crochet bib necklace .
Next in the pipeline was an attempt with the L size loom with 40 loops, a more delicate SUN pendant with 5 sweet beams instead of 7, and from there surprise surprise !
when you hang it on an ear wire you get a statement angel wings earring ...
and now I feel like trying to make the earrings on the M size loom with the 24 gates, or actualy the YoolaKnitter ... this is definitely what I'm going to try next ! the angel wings with only 3 triangles !
